Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show 2012 Critique

Without sounding critical on my first CC appointment,  rears are very weak.

PD
(5, 1) 1 Sharp's Rosslyn Qonnor. Good balance,  nice expression, good coat and excellent feet, his overall outline was good on  the move, but more attention could have been made when he was standing. 2  Peach's Kilbourne Usher. Nice puppy of nice size and substance. In good  condition, good head but thought his eye a little small, feet need to tighten.  3 Rose's Gentiehun Ayers Rock.

JD
(1) 1 Barclay's Leoch Ian. Leggy,  squarish outline, attractive head and expression, excellent coat, topline a  little overdone, nice flat ribs, a little untidy moving, especially in the  rear. YD(1) 1 Grogan's Albaeirn Dava. Aloof temperament with nice head  type and dark eye, good coat, would prefer more length of neck, topline ok,  good depth, flattens a little on the move, could be tidier moving down and  back.

PGD
(3) 1 Morton &Morgan's Cotherstone Shot And Steel.  Masculine yet elegant dog, good head and eye with good topline, good neck and  shoulder, moves well though picks up a little in front, good overall balance  though would prefer a fraction more leg. 2 Thompson's Stranwith Arlo. Would  prefer more substance, good leg length, flattened a little moving, though had  nice elegant carriage and lift in front movement, needed to firm up down and  back. 3 Bailey's Breesfalt Jacob.

LD(3) 1 Spence &Heathcote's  Hyndsight Riddick. Well shaped and balanced head, though eye could be darker,  good ears, elegant looking with strength, good bone and feet and depth of  chest, has nice lift in front and moves well in profile, but preferred topline  of CC winner. 2 Freeman's Kwaricott Abdiel. Nice gentle soft expression, his  balance is ok, moved well enough but short steps a little. 3 Barclay's Leoch  Garry.

OD
(2) 1 Peach's Kilbourne Hector To Oelmuhle. Elegant dog who  looked fit, active and capable, masculine enough, excels in neck, shoulder,  topline and depth, he keeps his outline standing and moving and looks lovely in  profile, ears could be better, made the cut in a very strong Hound Group. 2  Adams' Cscarf O'Cockaigne (Imp NL). Masculine, sound, powerful dog, good coat,  excellent feet, strong rear, would prefer him a little more light footed in  front, but no question he could pull down a stag.

PB
(4, 2) 1 Peach's  Kilbourne Unity. Lovely promising bitch. There really is lots to love, she has  lovely balance and proportions, love her head, eye and ears, good coat, needs  to develop some strength in her neck which will hopefully come with age, has  such presence and style. 2 Constantine's Gentiehun Adelaide. Squarer in outline  with good head, eye a shade small, good coat, sound on the move.

JB(2,  1) 1 Robertson's Chuilinn Magdalena. Elegant light footed easy mover, though  would prefer a fraction more scope, she has a nice overall typical outlook and  carriage, ears spoiled overall look to an otherwise nice head.

YB
(2) 1  Peach's Kilbourne Teliah. Beautiful type bitch of elegant, yet powerful  balance. I love her proportions and outline both standing and moving, excellent  topline, balanced front and rear, so easy and effortless on the move, just  started getting a little lazy in the challenge so had to be content with RCC. 2  Grogan's Albaeirn Zama.

PGB
(10, 2) 1 Smart's Kessoch Marsco Of  Greystiel. Elegant, honest bitch, she is sound, free and easy on the move, good  head and expression, neck, topline and depth, not overdone or glamorous, just  moderate, correct and very nice, would have preferred less enthusiastic tail  carriage. 2 Morton &Morgan's Cotherstone Duchenne. Nice outline and  proportions. Has more coat and substance to first but otherwise outlines were  not dissimilar, in good condition, good head and eye. 3 McIntyre's Bannetstane  Rubha Cadail.

LB
(3) 1 Adams' Ardneish Pantalaimon. Nice overall look  standing with good outline, however, she comes into her own on the move, very  effortless ground covering movement, good topline, depth, coat and ears, would  have preferred a little less back skull. 2 Nichols &Collins' Birkhall Hot  Scotch. Good head and lovely soft expression, well handled and moved well in  profile, keeping outline standing and moving, a shade more length to body than  first, good overall balance and outline. 3 Rose's Jacobite Rosanne To  Gentiehun.

OB
(7) 1 Finnett &Heathcote's Ch Hyndsight Into The  Mystic. First two were the most similar for balance, outline and proportions,  difficult to split them, loved head, eye and ear and she kept her topline  better on the move, her feet could be better though. Both moved well in  profile, loved neck and shoulder on second, but ears wee a little flat. 2  Taylor &Peach's Ch Brackenland Tan At Kilbourne. 3 Robertson's Chuilinn Afra.
